Accounting Geared towards Corporate Social Responsibility: Analysis of the Polish Insurance Sector

The aim of the study was to present way in which non-financial information associated with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is reported Polish insurance sector. Moreover intended check engagement companies reporting and determine areas they are socially responsible. Non-financial facing many problems derive from lack uniform standards regulations. research carried out by compiling existing data on official websites elaborating a case Ergo Hestia. A role model transparent CSR social report Hestia Group 2020, prepared accordance GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards, UN “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals principles “Good Practice”. shows that market insufficiently involved sustainable development issues focuses primarily building good reputation. commitment outweighs other CSR, makes comparison process difficult realise.
